We have the only device that has a built in DELAY – this is important because it allows us to use non-insulated tips without worrying about Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) = SAFETY and COMFORTABILITY
When the first RF Microneedling devices came onto the market, they were using non-insulated tips and the devices were overheating the tissue which was causing PIH – the solution for this was to move to insulated tips but results weren’t as good (the RF was only emitting from the base of the needle and you weren’t getting as effective temperature increase throughout the dermis) – Dr. Waldman from Lexington Plastic Surgery offered the ultimate and best solution to Mark Rohrer by building in a delay – the needles go in hot and then the RF is turned off before the needles come out “cold”.
Unlimited Shot Count
Most other devices limit the number of pulses that a single tip can be used – this increases the consumable costs to the practice – the pixel8 has unlimited shot count (they are single use tips but can be used on multiple treatment areas without worrying about changing the tip.
Optimal power
We have the optimal power of 2 MHz for max efficiency– this allows our device to get to the optimal temperature, the fastest (other devices that have 1 MHz or lower, take longer to heat up) – the faster you get to optimal temperature the more comfortable the procedure
Comfort
We have seen multiple treatments in which the Pixel8 was used for face and body with aggressive settings – it is a comfortable procedure. Patients numb for 30 min prior to procedure – use arctic chiller and tolerate procedure without significant discomfort.
