Schedule Consultation

Men and hair loss seem to go hand in hand, especially due to unavoidable genetic traits. However, excessive hair loss can have a significant impact on your self-esteem, specifically in a career or personal settings. Fortunately, there is a non-surgical treatment that utilizes all-natural methods to restore hair growth with little to no downtime or complications. PRP therapy may be the revolutionary breakthrough in hair restoration for men across the nation.

What is PRP Therapy?

PRP therapy, or platelet rich plasma therapy, uses your own blood, which contains white and red blood cells, plasma, and platelets. For many years now, doctors have utilized platelets in our blood to heal the body from injuries. Today PRP is increasingly beneficial for those seeking medical aesthetic improvements, such as hair restoration, as well.

Am I a Good Candidate for PRP Therapy?

When it comes to hair restoration, many men are looking for a natural, non-surgical alternative. PRP therapy is safe for most patients because it utilizes platelets from your body, which virtually eliminates any chance of complication or allergic reaction. However, a consultation will be necessary to determine your candidacy for PRP therapy.

Can't wait to return for another Hydrafacial.  My complexion looked and felt so much better afterwards.  Staff were all exceedingly professional, courteous, knowledgeable about skin care and so welcoming.  I recommend this medspa to all my friends and family.

What to Expect During PRP Therapy?

PRP therapy begins by drawing blood from the patient, which is similar to a routine blood test at your physician’s office. The blood is then spun in a centrifuge to separate the PRP from the blood. Then the stimulating PRP is injected into the hair loss area, which regenerates the hair follicle’s growth. Initially, patients will receive a series of four treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. To maintain results, it is recommended to receive PRP therapy every three to four months, or semiannually, depending on your desired changes and maintenance.

What is Recovery like from PRP Therapy?

Patients may experience slight redness or discomfort at the injection site immediately after treatment. Most patients recover within a day of the treatment, and generally has little to no downtime, so you won’t have to hide under a hat all week!

What Results Can I Expect?

Although most patients require multiple treatments to see dramatic results from PRP therapy, some will only receive this treatment once a year. Results will vary from patient to patient, but often, you will see a gradual increase in natural hair growth over several months.
